
Harriet McKay is a Clinical Psychology Registrar who has completed a Bachelor of Psychology, Master of Professional Psychology, and Master of Clinical Psychology. She has experience working across school, university, and private practice settings, and enjoys working with people across the lifespan.
Harriet works flexibly and collaboratively with individuals experiencing a range of challenges, including anxiety, mood disorders, stress and burnout, trauma-related concerns, interpersonal difficulties, and challenges related to child behaviour and parenting. Her particular interests include insomnia and other sleep difficulties, pain management, and neurodiversity.
Her approach is empathetic, client-focused, and evidence-based, incorporating interventions such as CBT, ACT, and DBT. Harriet seeks to understand each individual's unique experiences, values, needs, and goals, recognising and building upon their existing strengths and resources.
