Dr Aaron Lam completed his PhD at the University of Sydney and the Woolcock Institute of Medical Research. He is now a postdoctoral researcher working with Dr Angela D’Rozario at the Woolcock Institute of Medical Research. He has research interests in obstructive sleep apnea, EEG, neuroimaging, and ageing.

Dr Lam’s current research focusses on investigating the role of obstructive sleep apnea on brain activity during sleep in older adults with mild cognitive impairment, and identifying potential sleep biomarkers of cognitive impairment (such as spindle-slow wave coupling and EEG slowing). His expertise includes neuropsychology and neuroimaging (high-density EEG, structural MRI and source imaging).
